RELAX IN STYLE - secluded and private at the end of a quiet culdesac nestled amongst the native melaluca and cyprus forest is 'Amiri' ('of the East wind') a contemporary North Stradbroke Island beach house. Cleverly designed for outdoor living capturing the northerly aspect and native forest setting. Expandable doorways on 2 sides of the living/dining room area open onto hardwood timber decks overlooking the very private rear courtyard.

Tastefully and comfortably furnished there is no escaping the island and beach context. The kitchen features contemporary European appliances for your holiday convenience, but in this setting your holiday will centre around the outdoor entertainment area and generous sized gas BBQ. The master bedroom with king bed is a private sanctuary with ensuite, a large picture window framing the adjoining native forest trees and a large sliding glass door opening directly onto the rear deck and courtyard. The other 2 bedrooms, 1 a double bed, and the other a Queen, comfortably sleep another 4 guests serviced by the second bathroom, which offers a shower over bath and a separate toilet. Air-conditioning ensures year-round comfort for those hot summer days, while a garden fire-pit keeps everyone toasty warm when the weather cools down.

Walking tracks lead from the courtyard through the forest 350m directly to the beach. The sound of the ocean is ever-present on the gentle sea breezes filtered through the surrounding trees. The fully fenced yard provides peace of mind for the young family on holidays and free Wi-Fi keeps the whole family connected throughout your stay. Unfortunately pets are not permitted.

Fresh linen is supplied inclusive of Quilts, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. The beds inside the property will be made for you on arrival, all you need to bring are the beach towels!

  The location was perfect. Sitting on the back deck we could hear the beach and we watched the kangaroo's graze. The street is quiet. The house itself was very functional. The master bedroom was a joy however if I have one complaint is there was only one key and no other way to lock the doors other than by key. A minor detail which doesn't at all distract from the overall experience. We loved it.
