This fabulous waterfront property with private jetty is centrally located in Amity village in an ideal setting. The NNW aspect provides a breath-taking 200 degree vista of Moreton Bay Marine Park and views to Moreton Island, which makes Amity Shaws one of the most popular holiday rentals in Amity Point, if not the whole of North Stradbroke Island.

The jetty is an amazing spot to sit and watch for turtles and dolphins or just sit and fish. The modern 3 bedroom home sleeps up to 9 guests and from the two queen bedrooms you can lie in bed and have wonderful views of Moreton Bay. The main bedroom has an ensuite and the family bathroom has been totally refurbished offering a bath with separate shower. The contemporary kitchen has dishwasher, large fridge and wall oven - for all your cooking needs and the covered deck, which runs the length of the house, offers a bar fridge and gas BBQ, making outdoor meals a breeze. The deck also features a daybed with lounge and dining zones, perfect for relaxing and chilling out whilst enjoying the amazing bay views. For guest convenience the property offers free Wifi

The air conditioned living area is a great place to relax and watch your favourite program on Foxtel during the warmer months and offers a wood fire box for those cold winter nights. A gas heater on the deck also allows guests to stay warm whilst still enjoying the outdoors. The internal laundry offers a front loading washing machine and dryer.

The yard is fully fenced and gated & there is a large concreted off-street parking area with room for a boat and 4WD vehicle. Unfortunately the property does not allow pets.

Fresh linen is supplied inclusive of Quilts, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. The beds inside the property will be made for you on arrival, all you need to bring are the beach towels!

    We had a fantastic stay at Amity Shaws. The location of this property is amazing. Right on the water with fantastic fishing. The property was clean and comfortable. Considering the price point of this property we were surprised that there were no simple pantry staples (no salt/pepper, oil, paper towel etc) and no starter pack of washing powder/hand soap etc. The house sleeps 9 but there was only 2 teaspoons and none of the cutlery or dinnerware matched which was a shame. Overall we loved our stay and will certainly be back.

    Amity Shaws is in a great location and is the best supplied house we have encountered in over 20 years of staying at different houses at Amity. I have always taken a Tupperware container with us containing various utensils. This is the first time I have not had to use any of my own utensils or had to buy something from the local shop. Having a ramp at the front entrance was very helpful with loading and unloading our luggage and particularly for my hubby who has mobility problems and walks with a walking stick and doesn't manage stairs very well. The jetty is wonderful with it's own sink with running water and bench seats and lights available on the jetty at night. Only a couple of minor repairs required. Guttering over ramp to front entrance leaks badly in heavy rain (hard to get into the house without getting drenched in wet weather).
    Plenty of furniture on the back deck and back lawn to admire the beautiful views of the bay.

    Wow! what an incredible house to rent for a holiday! the position is incredible, magnificent sunsets, beautiful grassed area for relaxation and your own private jetty, it doesn't get much better than that, perfect place for a family gathering, especially if you love fishing, the only thing that would make this house and position better is if we owned it! See you next time Amity Shaws, we can't wait!

    Great Location and plenty of space for a large family or group of friends.
    My only suggestion would be is that they have a few containers with lids that you could put left overs in
